Alun Davies is Head of Cayman Operations of GLG Partners Services LP and a director of the 30 funds managed by GLG Partners.  He joined KPMG in London in 1985 after having obtained a law degree from King's College London.  He spent time in the audit department and the tax department of KPMG, becoming a manager in the International Tax Department.  In 1993 he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (then Coopers and Lybrand) in the Cayman Islands as a manager in the Liquidations Department acting as liquidator on many complex liquidations.  From 1998 to 2000, Mr Davies was a financial controller for Boxalls’ Attorneys-at-Law and their company management business, Ironshore Corporate Services Ltd.  From 2000 to November 2004, he worked for Bank Austria Cayman Islands Ltd as Manager of Client Services, responsible for, inter alia, oversight of the bank's corporate management, trustee business and regulatory compliance matters.  In November 2004 he set up Cayman Financial Consultants Ltd providing directorship and liquidation services in his personal name until he joined GLG in October 2005.
