Andy Stepaniuk is a Partner in the Cayman Islands office of KPMG where he serves clients in the offshore investment and banking industries. Andy has 14 years of public practice experience, including 11 years of providing assurance related services in the mutual funds and banking industry in the Cayman Islands. His experience in the area of capital markets includes audit and accounting services involving a wide variety of financial derivative products and complex structured investment vehicles. Other assurance-related responsibilities include the review of offering documents in conjunction with stock exchange listings and private placements of equity and debt securities. In 2002 Andy worked with KPMG’s IFRS Desk in London developing illustrative financial statements for investment funds in accordance with IFRS.  These statements serve as a guide for KPMG professionals worldwide with respect to common presentations and disclosures found in fund financial statements.
